Yukang Cao is regarded as one of the promising young artists of his generation. After early studies at the Tianjin Conservatory of Music, he is currently continuing his training at the Berlin University of the Arts with Prof. Thomas M\u00fcller-Pering and Prof. Marco Tamayo, where he is pursuing his Master\u2019s degree in classical guitar performance. <\/p>\n

He is a prizewinner of several international competitions, including First Prize at the Guangzhou Guitar Competition in 2017 and Second Prizes at Hong Kong International Guitar Competition in 2018 and 2019. His concert activities have taken him across Europe and Asia, featuring duo performances with Prof. Thomas M\u00fcller-Pering at international festivals in Germany and Austria, as well as collaborations with singers and instrumentalists in diverse chamber music projects. <\/p>\n

Yukang\u2019s programs combine masterpieces of the Baroque and Classical eras with the virtuosity of the Romantic tradition and the colorful soundscapes of Spanish and Latin American music, ranging from Bach, Sor to Mertz, Barrios and contemporary composers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
