He began studying classical guitar at the age of six and graduated two years early with top marks and honors from the Conservatory \u201cGiuseppe Verdi\u201d of Turin, later earning a second-level degree with honors and distinction at the Conservatory of L\u2019Aquila under Senio D\u00edaz. Gregorio further refined his artistry with Eliot Fisk at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena. Alongside his musical training, he graduated with honors and publication distinction in theoretical philosophy from the University of Turin and obtained a PhD from IUSS Pavia\u2013University of Turin with a dissertation entitled Future Metaphysics<\/em>, conducting research at KU Leuven and Columbia University.<\/p>\n

A precocious performer, Gregorio appeared on national television (RAI Tre) at twelve and recorded his first album at seventeen. As a concert guitarist, he has performed widely in Italy and Spain, including three appearances as a soloist in Granada\u2019s Cathedral Square, concerts at the Conservatories of Granada and M\u00e1laga, the International Music Festival of Toledo, and presentations at the Piccolo Teatro and Bocconi University in Milan.<\/p>\n

His discography includes d-Tunes<\/em>, Contemporarity<\/em>, Music to Me<\/em> (supported by the SIAE S\u2019illumina grant), \u03a0\u03a9\u03a3<\/em>, Bach Recital<\/em> (2022), entirely dedicated to Bach, and Nodi quasi di stelle<\/em> (Da Vinci Classics, 2025). He also published the score Trittico<\/em>, featuring three original works (Da Vinci\u2013Hal Leonard), and, for the same publisher, Trasfigurazioni stilistiche sul tema de Il Postino<\/em>, promoted during his lifetime by Luis Bacalov.<\/p>\n

An essayist and novelist, Gregorio published a work on musical aesthetics at seventeen and, in 2017, Mondadori\u2014the most important Italian publishing house\u2014released his novel L\u2019altro suono dell\u2019ombra<\/em>, centered on Andr\u00e9s Segovia. He has given lectures and seminars at the Conservatories of Granada and Motril and at the Universities of Salento, Bonn, Leuven, Granada, and others. Since 2024, Gregorio has been an official Ram\u00edrez artist, performing on a Ram\u00edrez Auditorio model guitar.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
