Prologue to the new concert series Cologne Acoustic Fridays, launching in January 2027 on selected Fridays at Hinterhofsalon in Cologne!

In November, Elodie Bouny will present excerpts from her new concert and recording project, Echoes of Baden, live in Germany for the very first time.

The program is a musical tribute to the legendary Brazilian guitarist Baden Powell, bringing together his timeless compositions with previously unreleased works from his musical estate, which Elodie Bouny has rediscovered and arranged in close collaboration with his family. The program is further complemented by compositions dedicated to Baden Powell.

With remarkable artistic sensitivity, Elodie Bouny builds a bridge between the rich tradition of Brazilian music and her own distinctive musical voice, creating an extraordinary concert experience that offers a fascinating new perspective on the legacy of one of the greatest guitarists of the 20th century.

A truly special highlight: For this project, Elodie Bouny performs on Baden Powell’s original guitar—the very instrument he played during the final ten years of his career. An instrument of exceptional history and a truly unique sound.
