


He began studying classical guitar at the age of six and graduated two years early with top marks and honors from the Conservatory “Giuseppe Verdi” of Turin, later earning a second-level degree with honors and distinction at the Conservatory of L’Aquila under Senio Díaz. Gregorio further refined his artistry with Eliot Fisk at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena. Alongside his musical training, he graduated with honors and publication distinction in theoretical philosophy from the University of Turin and obtained a PhD from IUSS Pavia–University of Turin with a dissertation entitled Future Metaphysics, conducting research at KU Leuven and Columbia University.
A precocious performer, Gregorio appeared on national television (RAI Tre) at twelve and recorded his first album at seventeen. As a concert guitarist, he has performed widely in Italy and Spain, including three appearances as a soloist in Granada’s Cathedral Square, concerts at the Conservatories of Granada and Málaga, the International Music Festival of Toledo, and presentations at the Piccolo Teatro and Bocconi University in Milan.
His discography includes d-Tunes, Contemporarity, Music to Me (supported by the SIAE S’illumina grant), ΠΩΣ, Bach Recital (2022), entirely dedicated to Bach, and Nodi quasi di stelle (Da Vinci Classics, 2025). He also published the score Trittico, featuring three original works (Da Vinci–Hal Leonard), and, for the same publisher, Trasfigurazioni stilistiche sul tema de Il Postino, promoted during his lifetime by Luis Bacalov.
An essayist and novelist, Gregorio published a work on musical aesthetics at seventeen and, in 2017, Mondadori—the most important Italian publishing house—released his novel L’altro suono dell’ombra, centered on Andrés Segovia. He has given lectures and seminars at the Conservatories of Granada and Motril and at the Universities of Salento, Bonn, Leuven, Granada, and others. Since 2024, Gregorio has been an official Ramírez artist, performing on a Ramírez Auditorio model guitar.
