When Ramon Boss performs, entire worlds unfold: individuality, depth of expression, and a charismatic stage presence define the young cellist. He has already appeared in renowned concert halls such as the Berlin Philharmonie and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. As a passionate chamber musician, he can also be experienced on international stages with his ensemble, the Young Classic Artists.
Born in Oberstdorf in 2003, he began studying the cello with Ulrike Tenzer at the Oberstdorf Music School.
In 2021, his path led him to Augsburg, where he studied as a junior student at the Leopold Mozart College of Music under Julien Chappot. He is currently pursuing his cello studies at LMC Augsburg with Prof. Edward King, Julien Chappot, and Hyun-Jung Berger. As a scholarship holder of Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now e.V., he is dedicated to bringing music to people who are no longer able to attend concerts, as well as opening up a vibrant access to music for children and young people in educational institutions.
In 2026, alongside his studies in Augsburg, he was admitted to the SOLO study program in cooperation with the University of Bologna, where he studies in the cello class of Jing Zhao.
