His reputation as a virtuoso magician on his instrument is confirmed not least by guitar legend Carlo Domeniconi: “The guitar needs musicians like him!”
His concerts are regarded by audiences and the press as “guitar fire” (Ostseezeitung, Germany).
Whether as a sought-after soloist with orchestras such as the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra with the world-famous “Concierto de Aranjuez,” or with his world music solo program, from which the CD “Novo Mundo” in 2018, or in projects such as the Duo Resonado or the groove jazz band Flowin Tension – the young artist is gaining international recognition in major venues such as the Kulturpalast Dresden, at renowned music festivals, and in concert halls in major cities in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa.
His compositions are published by renowned publishers such as Schott, Acoustic Music, and Edition Margaux and are performed worldwide by renowned musicians. He also writes regularly for film and television, including for the Spanish documentary Senda (2022) by Alejandro Martinéz.
Fabian Zeller studied in Germany and in Brazil on a DAAD scholarship and is one of the few selected musicians to have taken the master class in acoustic guitar at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden. He is co-founder and artistic director of the Dresden Guitar Festival.
