From an early age, Andjela showed a strong interest in both classical and flamenco guitar. While building a solid foundation through formal classical training, her artistic path was increasingly shaped by flamenco, sparked by her early discovery of the music of Paco de Lucía. Over time, flamenco became an essential part of her personal musical expression, deeply influencing her sound, sense of rhythm, and interpretative freedom.

Throughout her education, she achieved notable success at numerous classical guitar competitions, earning prestigious awards. At the same time, her flamenco repertoire distinguished her on the concert stage and led to frequent solo performances, as well as appearances in chamber music settings. Her musical language today is defined by a dialogue between classical discipline and flamenco expressiveness, enriched by rhythmic vitality, stylistic openness, and emotional depth.

In parallel with her solo career, Andjela has matured as a performer as a member of the professional Serbian flamenco fusion band Traces of Flamenco, gaining extensive stage experience and further expanding her stylistic range. She is also deeply interested in flamenco-jazz fusion, following a musical path pioneered by Paco de Lucía through his collaborations with artists such as John McLaughlin and Al Di Meola.

In 2025, she performed at the Suma Flamenca Joven Festival in Madrid, where her playing was warmly received by the Spanish audience and fellow musicians, who expressed strong appreciation for her musical authenticity and unique artistic voice.

During her stay in Spain, she also recorded several compositions for YouTube at the Casa de Paco de Lucía in Toledo, further deepening her artistic connection to the flamenco tradition. Through her work, Andjela Mišić continues to develop a personal musical identity rooted in classical technique and flamenco spirit, while remaining open to contemporary influences and cross-genre exploration.
